For Puppies & Adult Dogs
Good Manners curriculum is custom designed to meet the needs of you and your dog. Topics covered for private and semi-private lessons may include; attention, sit, down, stay, leave it, give, wait, come, stand, house-training, crate training, loose leash walking, and polite greetings.
Private lessons offer the convenience of training in a home environment and provide dog owners with one-on-one attention and instruction.
- Pay by the lesson: $75.00 per lesson (1 hour)
- Pay in advance for a 6 lesson Good Manners course: $420.00 ($70.00 per lesson)
6 lessons to be completed in 8 week maximum

Have a friend with a dog that needs training as well? Train together and save! Prices are per person and based on two people with two dogs.
- Pay by the lesson: $60.00 per lesson (1 hour)
- Pay in advance for a 6 lesson Good Manners course: $330.00 ($55.00 per lesson)

Short on time for training or want quicker training results? Day Training is the answer! Your dog will be trained at your home while you are at work*, and you will be taught required skills and concepts to maintain the training, scheduled at a time convenient to you.
- 6 week Good Manners course: $960.00 (two 45 minute training sessions per week with your dog, one 30 minute training session per week with you and your dog)
Course to be completed in 8 week maximum

Behavioral Consultations provide dog owners with assistance for solving common problems, such as fearfulness, anxiety, dog-on-dog aggression, house-training, guarding food or toys, chewing, counter surfing, barking, and digging. *
- 90-minute consultation: $150.00
At this in-home session, your dog will be evaluated and a training strategy will be recommended.* Recommendations are based on your dog's problem behavior, the current level of training and your goals for your dog.
- Subsequent training sessions (as needed): $80.00 per session (1 hour)
- Pay in advance for 2 or more subsequent sessions: $75.00 per session
* Pawsitive Fit can evaluate and assist with most behavior problems. Some more serious behavior disorders or aggression cases may be referred to a highly qualified certified behaviorist when indicated.

Thinking of getting a dog? During a Pre-Adoption Counseling session, we can answer your questions regarding:
- Which breeds or mixes are most compatible with your lifestyle & experience
- Where to find your new best friend and what to expect at shelters, breeders, or rescues
- What to look for and what are "red flags" in a dog
- Integrating a new dog into your existing "pack"
- Bringing your new dog home and how to make the transitional period less stressful
- How to get started training and preventing behavior problems, and what to do if your new dog develops a behavior problem.
We can also accompany you to local animal shelters or breeders to help you pick out your new best friend. If you are interested in a particular dog, we can evaluate the dog and determine if the dog would likely be a safe, friendly, compatible companion for you and your family.
- Pre-adoption counseling session: $85.00 per session (1 hour)
- Pre-adoption behavioral assessment: $100.00

NOTE: For clients located more than 15 miles from the Pawsitive Fit business office (21601), a travel fee will be assessed for each visit.
Cancellation Policy
Your success is important to us at Pawsitive Fit. To help you succeed, we have planned and blocked a session time specifically for you and/or your dog. Because of this, if your plans should change and you’re unable to keep a scheduled session, please contact us as soon as possible so we may be able to utilize that time elsewhere. If you’re able to contact us 24 or more hours in advance for private sessions, we’ll be happy to reschedule your session without any cancellation fee. However, if you must cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled private session or do not notify us of your inability to attend, we regret that we will be unable to reschedule or refund that session without additional costs.
